Programming skills are increasingly required in a variety of professions, but learning programming is generally challenging. Yet, as the field of application expands, software engineers are in short supply. This paper describes a study we conducted to build a means to help beginning programmers learn coding and related theory systematically by using ChatGPT as a new approach, thereby enabling many people to acquire programming skills. This trend can be called a shift from codingcentered to documentation-centered learning. The purpose of this study is to improve individual skills, not to contribute to group programming projects.
