The article describes the role of linear engineering structures in ensuring continuous technological process of industrial enterprises. This article provides a definition and description of unstrutted pipe racks and pipe racks industrial enterprises use, and key differences between them. Possible loads and actions affecting structures are listed. Examples of stain-stress state of a section of a pipe rack with an anchor structure and a section of unstrutted pipe racks without an anchor structure are provided. A detailed review of the structural above-ground part of such structures was carried out: anchor structures and intermediate supports, support beams and longitudinal struts. Examples of constructions made of steel and reinforced concrete are listed. Separate references to standard series developed in the Soviet Union and Russia are provided. Prospects for the development and improvement of the structural part of the pipe racks are noted, an analysis of patent base referring to the discussed constructions has been made. A growing use of constructions made of composite materials is noted. It is concluded that it is possible to conduct research in order to find more efficient forms of pipe racks that have lower steel consumption compared to existing structures.

摘要
