AI-Enhanced Lean Management in Healthcare Provision Systems: Streamlining the Disposal Process of Hazardous Medical Waste

Applying AI in parallel with Lean creates a unique method of dealing with the difficulties connected with hazardous medical waste in healthcare facilities. Specifically, this paper examines how the symbiosis of Leading Advanced Intelligent (AI) technologies like IoT and Deep Learning with Lean approaches transforms waste management. Thus, the purpose of this paper is to present an overall assessment of current trends in the application of AI to support Lean waste management in the context of the healthcare industry and its advantages, and future prospects for its development. Based on an analysis of literature review on current practices, case studies of AI and theoretical regression analysis, the study concludes to the need of harmonizing AI with Lean techniques for efficiency, efficacy, and sustainability in the management of hazardous wastes. Furthermore, it presents future developments that might be expected in the near future such as the usage of artificial intelligence for additional increase in the efficiency of waste management and robotics and ethical issues that should be concerned on while implementing it. The knowledge developed in this study will come handy to healthcare administrators, policymakers, and other technology specialists who are interested in advancing the practice of medical hazardous waste management.
