Providing home care means guaranteeing the patient to continue to live among their memories and affections, without being deprived of a care service necessary for their health condition. This assumption starts from the idea that the home is the main care space, where the patient can be assisted by medical and nursing staff, but at the same time continue to remain in his social and family context, thus contributing to reducing the pressure on hospital structures. This study aims to compare the flows of service activation requests of these services in the years 2021 and 2022 in the local health authority Benevento, in the south of Italy. The paper was conducted by integrating Lean Six Sigma with statistical analysis, which has resulted in a data-driven approach to process improvement that improves efficiency, reduces variation, and ultimately, improves overall quality and performance. The analysis reveals two key findings for the year 2021: a noticeable increase in applications for districts 7–8 and a general reduction in waiting times between enrolment in the service and the first assessment. The analysis conducted with LSS highlights both positive developments and areas of continued attention.
