Future Directions for AI-Enabled Healthcare Security
摘要
Artificial intelligence (AI) has deeply changed healthcare by significantly increasing patient care, diagnostic, and treatment methods and by attractive healthcare operations. However, considering the simultaneous rise in cyber dangers, it is imperative to establish robust security solutions, particularly those designed to safeguard sensitive medical or healthcare data. This chapter looks at the technologies and trends driven by artificial intelligence that influence the development of security systems. Important advances include powerful machine learning algorithms to find anomalies, federated learning to improve data privacy, and blockchain technology to provide safe data transfers. Apart from the enormous opportunities these discoveries offer, like increased operational effectiveness and the application of predictive analytics to enhance patient outcomes, this chapter also addresses: It does, however, especially focus on important unresolved issues, including the ethical consequences of artificial intelligence (AI), the challenges ensuring the security of connected devices in the Internet of Medical Things (IoMT), and the legal challenges related to data protection laws. This chapter aims to provide a comprehensive overview to all stakeholders with the required information by means of an extensive study of the present situation and expected future developments, therefore enabling the use of an artificial intelligence-enabled digital health care ecosystem with both security and potentiality.
