Social Change
摘要
It is clear to a growing number of people that we must quickly bring about change for the better on this dual goal—human dignity (justice) and environmental security. To be successful, we need a strategy for change. To bring about constructive change means you need to be fully problem-oriented. The social process model that we have been using throughout this book is about humans seeking values through institutions using resources. These are each a lever for change. Empowering people and engaging them in civic-minded activities is key to future improvements. A skill set is necessary for effective leadership and participation in social processes seeking human dignity and environmental sustainability—systematic thinking, observation and research, management, and technical matters.
