The safety and durability of Bridges are the primary issues, which are affected by the natural environment and traffic pressure. Concrete bridge deck is susceptible to leakage, corrosion, cracking and carbonization, so it is very important to waterproof the bridge deck. The paper explains the effect of waterproof layer and bond layer on prolonging bridge life, including preventing water penetration, reducing chemical erosion and preventing concrete cracking. At the same time, the paper aims to explore the scientific and effective quality control strategy and late detection and maintenance technology of bridge floor waterproof construction, so as to provide reference for bridge floor waterproof engineering. It focuses on the design and construction technology of special waterproof system to meet the needs of bridge waterproofing.
