India possesses a rich cultural heritage that is prominently expressed through its traditional handicrafts. Artisans employ age-old handmade techniques to produce various items that encapsulate the country's diverse customs. In a context of increasing digital commerce, there remains a significant demand for platforms that facilitate the purchase of these handicrafts. This paper examines an innovative e-commerce platform specifically targeting Telangana artisans, aiming to promote and sell their traditional handwoven textiles on a global scale. The platform features a digital catalog of a wide range of clothing products—including sarees and dresses—crafted from natural fibers using generational methods. It emphasizes ethical pricing and fair compensation for artisans, while also providing logistical support for shipping, tracking, returns, and exchanges. Furthermore, the platform serves to educate consumers about the heritage of Telangana weaving, natural dyeing processes, and the stories of artisans, while offering care instructions for the textiles. By integrating traditional crafts into modern e-commerce, the initiative not only aids in preserving cultural traditions but also fosters sustainable livelihoods for artisans, thereby bridging the gap between cultural preservation and contemporary market demands.
