Enhancing Data Security in Telemedicine: Integration of Digital Watermarking and Cryptography Techniques
摘要
Telemedicine has emerged as a key application, driven by the exponential rise in multimedia data exchange in today’s era, largely in view of rapid growth of internet technology. Transferring private and sensitive health information via telecommunication networks is required because telemedicine enables the provision of clinical health services remotely. Preserving the confidentiality and safety of the data is crucial in order to stop unwanted access. This research focuses on ways to enhance data security in telemedicine by integrating encryption and digital watermarking approaches. Discrete Wavelet Transform (DWT) and Discrete Cosine Transform (DCT) are specifically utilized to watermark medical photographs. In order to stop unwanted access to medical photos, the data is encrypted using the Rivest-Shamir-Adleman (RSA) and Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) algorithms with a key. Medical picture originality is assessed using the Structural Similarity Index Measurement (SSIM) and the Peak Signal to Noise Ratio (PSNR).
