The 2024 U.S. Presidential Campaign between Joe Biden who had secured the Democratic Party nomination and Donald J. Trump who is the Republican Party candidate, and whose Party convention spectacle rite has been one of the more bizarre series of spectacles in U.S. history. President Biden faced no serious opposition for the Democratic Party nomination but faced a devastating set-back in his ambitions to be re-elected during the first Presidential debate of the season on June 27, 2024 as he appeared unable to provide clear answers to the questions, rambled and stuttered, and provided the impression that he was too old and tired to run. Consequently, he left the race, ceded his candidacy to Vice-President Kamala Harris who lost a hard-fought and bitter election campaign to Trump who was inaugurated as President in January 2025 as I am completing this book.
