A new neutron irradiation system consisting of a small-footprint compact power supply and neutron generators with a two-material moderator has been designed, built, and installed at the Fukushima SiC Applied Engineering (FSiC) Laboratory at its Naraha Facility in Fukushima Prefecture, Japan. The neutron beam can be delivered from a maximum of six directions, so the neutron distribution is uniform in the body of the patient.
