The geographic focus of evidence collection is in the rural areas of Tongren Municipality (Fig. 4.1), which offers new insights into rural development within small to medium-sized cities. In Tongren, various stakeholders have been actively involved in heritage-led development as part of a broader rural revitalization framework.
