Advocating a Sustainable Approach of Rural Revitalization
摘要
In the Chinese rural context, heritage narratives have been re-conceptualized to address needs that do not align straightforwardly with traditional heritage definitions (Lincoln and Madgin, International Journal of Heritage Studies 24:938–953, 2018; Pola, Built Heritage 3:64–80, 2019; Schriver, S. (2017). Cultural heritage preservation in regional China. Doctoral dissertation, School of Social Sciences, Asian Studies, University of Western Australia.). The numerous rural policies and practices focused on poverty reduction, environmental improvement, and cultural heritage preservation launched in recent years provide evidence of this phenomenon(c).
