This work explores clinical supervision in Chile, emphasizing cultural and diversity issues that are especially significant in our country. To achieve this objective, insights were gathered from local experts representing various theoretical models, along with our own perspective—derived from over 30 years of experience in conducting and teaching supervision at a Brief Strategic center. A key theme throughout the text is the polarity between insufficient and excessive regulation of practice and training in Chile. Lastly, a compilation of best practices observed in various contexts across the country is provided, along with proposed guidelines for their advancement.
