The research aims to determine students’ perspectives on using ChatGPT® for decision-making. Thus, a single case-study strategy and a qualitative research methodology based on narratives are employed. Data are collected from 12 students enrolled in the course “Competitive Intelligence in Tourism Organisations”, taught at the Universitat Politècnica de Valencia, Spain, and they are analysed using Text2Data®. The results show that most students have a negative attitude when it comes to using ChatGPT® for making strategic decisions. They see it more as an advisory tool that could complement the human approach, characterized by creativity and innovation.
