Review of State-of-the-Art Approaches to Vessel Loading and Unloading Planning and Scheduling
摘要
The high costs associated with vessel loading and unloading underscore the importance of optimizing berth allocation, quay crane allocation and quay crane scheduling problems. Evidence of this lies in the presence of multiple literature reviews associated with operations research models for vessel loading and unloading planning and scheduling. This highlights the need to systematically structure the available information to determine the present status of the topic. The objectives of this paper are threefold: to analyse reviews based on operations research applied to ship loading and unloading planning and scheduling, to identify the dimensions used in these reviews for categorizing the problem, and to pinpoint future research directions that remain valid and relevant.
