Analysis of Network Sectorization Techniques
摘要
This article discusses the problem of network sectorization, a process of dividing the network area into smaller sectors. By dividing networks, resources can be deployed more efficiently, and companies can provide a better service, bringing more quality to users. The study presents an in-depth analysis of network sectorization techniques, focusing on the use of geometric methods, evolutionary algorithms, and machine learning techniques such as clustering. Furthermore, the application of these techniques to optimize the sectorization of networks in different fields, such as logistics and water distribution networks, is exemplified. Finally, one of the great advantages of sectorization is highlighted, which is the collection of data in real time. This helps companies to improve their operations. Similarly, with an extensive data history, companies are able to use big data and artificial intelligence techniques to improve tactical and strategic decision making.
