Open data becomes a key complement to achieving good governance by enhancing the transfer of public information. Over the last decade, public administrations have made significant efforts to activate the reuse of open data and bring such closer to citizens and stakeholders. Among these is the university, and thanks to the collaboration between institutions materialized in the Open Data Classroom Bilbao Bizkaia, projects that add value through open data visualizations are being developed. Therefore, the aim of this study is to identify the alignment between themes and dashboard indicators and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), concluding that the transformation of open data is strategically aligned with sustainable development.
