A Method to Determine the Best DApp-Blockchain Fit
摘要
Decentralized Applications (DApps) offer a promising alternative to traditional centralized applications, leveraging blockchain technology to enhance security and transparency. However, selecting the appropriate blockchain network for DApp deployment poses a significant challenge. This study proposes a method to help creators in this decision-making process. The proposed multi-criteria decision analysis methodology, following the SMART multiattribute utility measurement, facilitates blockchain network selection by considering technical and business dimensions. This methodology aims to increase the potential success of a DApp by improving the fit between blockchain selection and the DApp project objectives. While the approach offers a practical framework, further research is needed to provide guidelines for objective measurement and validation in real-world scenarios.
