The DIGITAL DECATHLON is a student competition focusing on digital building design according to Building Information Modelling, funded as an Erasmus+ project by the European Commission. The concept, content, and learning method of this project are presented in this paper. Effectiveness is determined by examining learning progress and student evaluation, and a performance evaluation system is proposed.
