The purpose of this paper is to apply a decision support tool on the best ergonomic method called WATEA (Workstation Assessment Tool considering Ergonomics Aspects) in a workstation in a cork manufacturing industry. The tool was developed in Visual Basic programming language, being an innovative tool because it compiles several methods of ergonomic analysis, indicating through the answer to some initial questions, which is the appropriate method to make the ergonomic evaluation of a workstation. Based on the result of the evaluation, proposals for improvements were presented considering the ergonomics of this workstation but also its productivity.
