Job Crafting Assessment: A Systematic Review
摘要
Background: Job crafting, a method for modifying tasks and relationships, boosting job satisfaction, well-being, and adaptability, measured by tools like JCQ and JCS, is vital in changing workplaces. Objective: This systematic review aims to analyze the tools most used to assess job crafting, the theoretical models on which they are based, and their developments. Method: In May 2023, a PRISMA-guided systematic review on job crafting examined studies from PsycINFO, PubMed, and a Google Scholar snowball search. Criteria included active workers and job crafting measures, analyzing publication year, collaborations, geography, design, dimensions, and instruments. Results and Discussion: From database and Google Scholar searches, 26 articles on job crafting were selected, primarily involving general workers. The most utilized measure was the JD-R Model-based Job Crafting Scale, with work engagement frequently assessed, notably via the nine-item Utrecht Work Engagement Scale. Conclusions: There are different models and scales to measure Job Crafting, each with its own characteristics and focus. However, the Job Crafting Scale (JCS) based on the JD-R Model continues to be the most used. Engagement is the work dimension most related to job crafting in the studies.
