Digitization and semantic processing of knowledge with general meaning is one of the most important tasks related to the development and use of modern educational platforms. One of the appropriate approaches to the semantic modelling of this knowledge is the use of ontologies. Through proper structuring, the ontology can provide automatic generation of test questions. The article presents an approach to building an ontology for structuring knowledge related to Bulgarian history and literature—BulgarianLiteratureAndHistoryOntology (BuLHO), which would enable automatic generation of test questions in correct, literary Bulgarian language.
