Training Future Software Engineers for Industry 4.0 in the Context of the Transition to a Digital Green Economy
摘要
Currently, addressing the issue of global warming on Earth is becoming an urgent problem. The leaders of many industries are focused on implementing commercial projects, avoiding investments in the social and environmental sectors, and using an authoritarian management style. Thus, we can observe the worsening of the climate crisis. The contemporary environmental situation is determined by the professional and environmental competence of managers and specialists at various levels in all sectors of the national economy. The research aims to develop an algorithm for developing environmental education among future specialists. The research methodology is to increase the environmental literacy of future specialists through the application of the principles of continuity, interdisciplinarity, systematicity, variability, and personality-oriented, anthropo-ecocentric, competency-based, activity-based approaches in the learning process; greening academic disciplines; inclusion of the discipline “Adaptation to climate change” in the curriculum; the use of active methods in teaching, where educational information turns into the personal knowledge of students. The result of this research lies in forming a new type of specialist with environmental and social consciousness, possessing digital competencies, and capable of applying the acquired knowledge in professional activities. The reliability of this research is ensured by the logic and methodology of the study. The study’s objective is achieved through various teaching methods and techniques by greening the academic disciplines and including the discipline “Adaptation to climate change” in the curriculum.
