摘要

The research aims to identify existing zones of tension formed during a period of uncertainty based on a comparative analysis of the parameters of the quality of the population’s life in the G7 countries and Russia, as well as to find effective solutions to overcome them. The research objectives are aimed at examining the dynamics of changes in key indicators of the quality of life during a period of uncertainty in the G7 countries and in Russia; determining the effectiveness of economic policy, forming the basis for the growth of the quality of life; substantiation of public policy measures to overcome the impact of adverse external conditions on the quality of life of the population. The dynamics of the growth of indicators of the quality of life of the population of the G7 countries and Russia in the pre-pandemic period, including their physical, intellectual, labor, and economic characteristics, is revealed. The authors determined that the COVID-19 pandemic decreased the quality of life in both the G7 countries and Russia. However, as the COVID restrictions were lifted and activity resumed, indicators of the level and quality of life of the population began to return to the pre-pandemic level. The authors substantiated the role of the state in maintaining the standard of living of citizens in a period of uncertainty.
