No-Till Technologies in Carbon Land Management System
摘要
The research analyzes the pressing issues of land management and land relations in Russia that hinder the development of the agro-industrial complex (AIC). It substantiates the importance of improving land management to address accumulated problems. The causes of greenhouse gas formation in agriculture are presented. The authors determined that carbon land management can reduce the negative impact of agriculture on the natural environment. The necessity of implementing measures to ensure carbon sequestration is demonstrated. The authors characterized the specificity and features of no-till technology implementation for different soil types. It is identified that further research is needed in this direction, as well as the development of carbon sites and carbon land management. The authors also proposed measures for arranging pasture areas to organize livestock grazing, thereby altering carbon content. It is suggested that reforestation be conducted, existing forests be preserved, and new ones be planted, which will contribute to the absorption of greenhouse gases and positively affect the environment. The authors described the potential of agricultural education to address current climate agenda issues, particularly reducing the negative impact of agriculture on ecosystems. Directions for rational and efficient land use while maintaining soil fertility are identified.
