Industrial Parks and Sustainable Areas with Circular Economy to Support Climate Resilience in Industry 4.0

The authors point out that the circular economy is a trend that supports climate resilience in Industry 4.0. The authors point out that consumption and production in industrial parks and sustainable areas occur in a closed cycle with three conditions: (1) resources are used to the maximum, (2) waste does not accumulate, and (3) there are no negative impact on nature. The authors note that territories are becoming more sustainable and efficient due to Industry 4.0. According to the authors, the implementation of a circular system can help in achieving various tasks, including optimizing business entities, finding rational methods for using resources, ensuring a sustainable production cycle to effectively use existing capacities, maintaining economic growth rates, and developing other branches of the economy (replenishment of natural reserves, GDP volume, filling the labor market, etc.). Through the introduction of a circular economy, the service life of technical products increases, production costs are reduced, and circular system tactics are changing through the adoption of effective business models. Industry 4.0 is a consequence of the transition to a circular economy. Stimulation of the development of industrial sites is carried out through financing mechanisms and support from the state and other socio-economic actors. The research examines the experience of leading eco-industrial parks and sustainable territories. The infrastructure of the eco-industrial park is used to carry out activities for the use of waste as secondary raw materials.
