Metrology System for Monitoring and Controlling of Physical Activity RAS4NoW

The concept of the RAS4NoW system, designed to support physical activity in the natural environment in a personalized way, is presented. The system fits into the convention of personalized physiotherapy prevention and, in particular, physiotherapy, both movement and performance. The basis of the implemented functionalities is neuromotor musical entrainment, which, in the context of Rhythmic Auditory Stimulation, is matched to the user's capabilities and continuously synchronized with the tempo of motor activities. Audio signals stimulate walking pace and form appropriate movement habits controlled by selected biomechanical biomarkers. The system has been realized in practice, validated, and verified under near-real conditions, providing the basis for industrial implementation. The scientific background is defined by a mathematical model for personalizing auditory stimulation, particularly considering the aesthetic aspect.
