This chapter traces the developments in Spatial AI from Neuro-Symbolic to Generative AI, demonstrating how AI can be created and/or derived from spatial information and spatial data. Beginning with Google's Bert and ending with Generative AI and ChatGPT, it is shown how spatial or/and geographical information can be retrieved from within Large Language Models and how it can be represented, analysed and processed using convolutional neural networks and generative adversarial networks.
