An SEM Model for Identification of Important Delay Parameters Affecting Precast Construction
摘要
Precast construction has acquired significant recognition as an alternative to conventional cast-in-situ construction due to its improved performance. Precast concrete construction projects, on the other hand, are regularly delayed. As a result, it is vital to identify the major variables causing delays in precast concrete construction projects and research ways to reduce them. The delay factors for precast construction projects were chosen and classified using literature research and an expert interview. Data is then collected using questionnaires. Data analysis has been done using structural equation model. Ranking of factors has been done using Relative Importance Index. According to the results, inadequate structural connections for precast components are the most important cause and are most readily influenced by other delay factors. This report also recommends that large delays be prioritized.
