Using civil 3D, popular civil engineering software, this research study analyses and designs a rotary (roundabout) with five legs. Roundabouts have gained popularity as an effective traffic control measure due to their ability to improve safety and traffic flow. The study focuses on the design process, traffic analysis, geometric considerations, and safety assessment for a rotary with five legs, aiming to provide insights into the advantages and challenges of such intersections. The present research focuses on creating an effective and efficient roundabout arrangement using civil 3D software. Through the examination of traffic patterns, road geometry, and the software assists in designing a roundabout that maximizes traffic flow while reducing congestion.
