Engaged Research and Impact Case Studies
摘要
Collaborating with public stakeholders can generate new research ideas and identify solutions which would otherwise go unnoticed. When the target users of research are included in the conversations, design, conduct, or communications about research, they can identify overlooked research considerations, increase research relevance, and lead to greater research impact. This section gives specific examples from research projects that have used an engaged research approach. Case studies focus on the impact of the research, how the engaged research approach contributed to realising the research impact, and discussion of the systems-level enablers and barriers. We give examples from cultural history research, climate action research, and health research to understand discipline-specific nuances and needs.
