In the time of smart and modern communication technology, one of the biggest challenge is to ensure the security of confidential data during transmission through social media from sender to receiver. To enhance the information security, a reversible, robust data hiding scheme with good embedding capacity should use while improving visual quality of the stego media. But, there are not sufficient schemes which can meet all the above requirements. In this situation, to fulfill the current market demand, a reversible, secured, dual-image based secret data embedding technique exploiting weighted matrix and dictionary-based, lossless Lempel-Ziv-Welch (LZW) algorithm has been proposed which comes up with a trade-off between two parameters- visual quality and embedding capacity. Since, the suggested scheme provides better robustness against various malicious attacks, the proposed approach is beneficial for different private and government practitioners and to protect important multimedia data from unauthorized users and various attacks.
