Creative and Accessible Cartographic Approaches to Cultural Heritage. CACHt_cart. Two Characterisations of Contemporary Landscape
摘要
Representing the territory is also a relevant cultural fact, an instrumental action that, together with transcribing its main characteristics, data and processes, allows us to reveal its condition as a landscape. In this approach, we are interested in situating the value of representation as an opportunity to explore the contemporary, to navigate landscapes and weave new fields, projections and displacements, broadening the spectrum in which different realities and scales can decant: visible and invisible, cultural and natural, individual and collective, scientific and phenomenological, rational and affective. The aim is to transfer a polyphasic and overlapping geographical reality, in constant change and simultaneity, into a multi-layered information operation, an intelligent and creative cartography that allows us to open a fluid and active gaze on the landscapes of contemporaneity.
