The Transformative Impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI) on Strategic Decision-Making
摘要
Effective decision-making largely relies on decision maker’s capacity to analyze, process, and interpret large datasets—often of uncertain quality—while recognizing patterns and generating actionable insights. Artificial intelligence (AI) has fundamentally transformed this process by enhancing decision maker’s ability to shift through vast amounts of data, identify trends, and provide recommendations that lead to more informed choices. This paper explores the transformative impact of AI on strategic decision-making at individual, organizational, and societal level, offering a nuanced perspective on how AI is reshaping modern “decision-making manifold”. Indeed, by utilizing the capabilities of AI, individuals can analyze vast datasets with remarkable speed and precision, uncovering patterns and insights that were previously inaccessible. In organizations, AI facilitates strategic planning by providing real-time analysis and forecasts. On a societal level, AI-driven decision-making contributes to better policy making and resource allocation in critical fields like healthcare, education, and urban planning. Although, the integration of AI into decision-making process offers numerous benefits, it also presents challenges and risks associated with legal, ethical, technical, and social concerns that researchers, practitioners, and policymakers need to be aware in order to effectively leverage its potential.
