This chapter presents the results of a study of the sediment balance resulting from shoreline changes in the Cua Dai area. The results of the study show that between 1965 and 2013, Cua Dai’s coastline has undergone major changes. The rate of erosion of the northern coastline during the wet season was greater than during the dry season. The southern coastline was increasing, but the rate of increase was faster during the wet season than during the dry season. The southern bank of the river eroded during the rainy season, and increased slightly during the dry season. Cape Cua Dai increased during the rainy season and eroded during the dry season. It is concluded that Cham Island plays an important role in the distribution of wave energy along the Cua Dai coast.
