Epidemiology with Physics Informed Machine Learning
摘要
The COVID-19 pandemic took the whole earth by surprise in early January 2020 and soon affected almost all countries in the world. The spreading of the virus became a critical factor in the implementation of various measures, at times draconian, in order to curtail it. Multiple efforts focused on predictions of the infection rates using available data. We present here two data-driven efforts that used a physics motivated approach and led to a successful predictive power.
