The establishment of effective governance models and funding arrangements is vital for the successful regeneration of port cities. This chapter underscores the necessity of a new paradigm that integrates public and private sector collaboration to address the unique challenges of waterfront regeneration. Engaging diverse stakeholders, including government entities, civil society, and local businesses, is essential for ensuring that regeneration efforts are inclusive and widely supported.
