AI-Enhanced Virtual and Augmented Reality for Cybersecurity Training
摘要
This chapter explores the integration of artificial intelligence with virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) technologies to revolutionize cybersecurity training. Through examination of key applications such as realistic threat simulations, immersive learning environments, and AI-driven adaptivity, the chapter demonstrates how these technologies can create more engaging and effective training experiences. The discussion encompasses the development of intelligent interaction mechanisms, automated assessment tools, and the design of effective training modules while addressing critical security concerns inherent in VR/AR systems, including hardware vulnerabilities and data privacy issues. Particular attention is given to real-world incidents, such as the Meta Quest headset exploit, to illustrate potential risks and necessary safeguards. The chapter concludes by examining future trends and innovations, including integration with emerging technologies like IoT and 5G, while acknowledging current limitations in hardware, haptic feedback, and standardization that must be overcome to fully realize the potential of AI-enhanced VR/AR in cybersecurity training.
