Curvularia
摘要
This compilation explores Curvularia which is widely distributed genus consisting of hyphomycetes, saprophytic, and endophytic molds or fungi. It is a widely distributed pathogenic fungus that causes universal economic losses in host crop plants. Chapter eloberate Curvularia characteristcs and their importance in agriculture, Curvularia covering taxonomy, geographical distribution, transmission methods, host range, and symptomology. This study also elucidated the pathogenicity of different Culrvularia species in various host plant varieties. The geographical distribution of different Curvularia is also been reported. The economic importance of Curvularia is highlighted, and effective control measures, including chemical methods and identified biological agents, are also defined. In addition, the study also demonstrated resistant varieties, which is the best alternative to eliminate Curvularia infection. This chapter identifies prominent techniques that are helpful for the agricultural economy against Curvularia and encourages the use of alternative biological metabolites or resistant species for the security of food crops.
