This chapter will discuss about differential and integral calculus. Calculus is a tool, possibly the first tool one has to deal with when approaching mathematics. Calculus involves a very wide list of techniques ranging from the set theory to the definition of derivatives and integrals: interconnected topics that need to be understood by a vast audience of researchers with very different educational experiences. However, calculus can be presented as a smooth technique that can be learned by any doctor or biologist.
