In this chapter a combination of type-3 fuzzyType-3 fuzzy logicFuzzy logic system (T3FLS) and the fractal dimensionFractal dimension (FD) is employed for diagnosis of vascular cerebral diseases. FD is utilized to characterize the geometrical properties of the cerebral vesselsCerebral vessels. A T3FLS is employed to represent the knowledge of experts in vascular cerebral diagnosis. In this situation, the T3FLS helps in representing the uncertainty in making a medical diagnosis. Simulation results with a dataset of x-ray images of cerebral vesselsCerebral vessels shows the accuracy of the proposal.
