Variation of Structural Solutions for Covering a Frame Building

The determination of the most rational variant of the constructive solution of the building from the side of constructive and technical and economic conditions begins at the sketching stage. At the design stage, it is equally important to specify the layout solutions in the most rational way. The technical and economic component in buildings and structures using a metal frame plays a significant role. Characteristic indicators at the design stage without specifying the design solutions for the coupling of parts and elements are the following indicators: structural and design indicators of structures (strength, stiffness and deformation characteristics), technical and economic indicators (labor costs and cost of manufacturing and installation of structures), the mass of the total element. The calculation of the tire center building with various types of cover was performed: a truss made of a closed square profile and a truss made using paired equal-field corners. The results of the calculation showed that when using a farm from paired corners, the total complexity of manufacturing is 17.78% greater, the absolute siege of the entire building is 0.38% greater, and the absolute vertical displacement of the coating is 8.70% less. The maximum difference in the normal forces N arising in the elements of the farm reached 1.36%, a higher value was achieved in a farm made of bent-welded profiles. The difference in the load-bearing capacity coefficients showed that a farm made of paired corners has a safety margin of 5.64% more than a farm made of a square profile.
