Enhancing Building Energy Efficiency Through the Optimization of Architectural and Planning Solutions

The article is devoted to the study of the issue of improving the energy efficiency of civil buildings. The analyЬsis of the influence of planning and design solutions on the energy efficiency of buildings is carried out. Calculations of heat loss related to the shape, design and orientation of facades to the sides of the sun were carried out using examples of buildings. Various ways to reduce heat loss, such as thermal insulation, efficient building materials and roof structures, are considered. Based on the results obtained, conclusions are formulated about technical solutions for choosing the most effective insulation materials that provide economic benefits during the operation of buildings. Enhancing the energy efficiency of buildings and structures allows you to save natural resources without reducing the comfort of living for citizens. A key aspect in improving energy efficiency is the implementation of a set of measures: urban planning, architectural planning and design solutions. Compliance with these principles has a significant impact on ecology, environmental conservation and the conservation of natural resources.
