Feasibility3D: Yet Another Valuation Methodology in the Oil and Gas Ecosystem

In the oil and gas industry, valuation is a critical process that involves estimating the economic worth of assets, infrastructure, and projects. Traditionally, 3-dimensional Computer-Aided Design software are associated with engineering and design but Feasibility3D in addition to the inherent 3-dimensional Computer-Aided Design characteristics can play a pivotal role in supporting valuation through detailed spatial modeling and simulation. This paper explores how Feasibility3D will enhance the accuracy of valuation by providing key inputs for cost estimation, operational efficiency analysis, and risk mitigation. Through enabling precise infrastructure design, optimizing capital and operational expenditures, and quantifying and simulating environmental impacts, Feasibility3D can help identify potential risks and opportunities that affect the financial performance of oil and gas assets. The integration of the inherent features of this software is poised to generate outputs into financial models and analysis. This integration will further lead to more robust and reliable valuation outcomes. Additionally, the software, which is designed to aid in spill quantification, decommissioning cost estimation, and scenario testing, is a veritable tool in refining the economic assessments in the complex operational environment commonly associated with the oil and gas industry.
