Green Environmental Problems and Smart Solutions: The Case of Exhaust Gas Emission and Stone Quarries in Northern Cyprus

Humanity is struggling with the environmental problems causing threats against the continuity of its generation and livable world. The global warming problem, one of the most important environmental problems, has been triggered by the emission of harmful and polluting gases into the atmosphere. The green environmental problems are quite diverse. It is impossible to examine all of these in a single study. For this reason, in this study, mainly two problems are focused on, namely the environmental problems caused by exhaust gas emissions and stone quarry activities, which affect the environment more and are very closely specific to Northern Cyprus. In the study, also smart environmental solution possibilities that can be brought to these problems were examined and appropriate suggestions were made.
