Green Economy Potential in Liberated Territories and Ways to Use it Efficiently

Economic, social and environmental aspects should be integrated in order to increase the level of people’s welfare and ensure sustainability in meeting their needs in a globalized world. The concept of “green economy” provides a holistic approach to economic, social and environmental aspects, which are the main elements of economic sustainability. In modern times, the main and urgent issue of the economy is efficiency in the conditions of “green economy”. Solving environmental problems is considered important in Azerbaijan, and complex measures are implemented in this direction. One of the five National Priorities for socio-economic development of Azerbaijan in the next decade is the country of clean environment and “green growth”. In addition, the liberated Karabakh and East Zangezur were declared a “green energy” zone by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan. The article examines the economic potential and its future prospects in the liberated territories by identifying innovative global trends related to the “green economy”. In addition, the article examines the application of the “green economy” potential in all areas of the economy in the territories freed from occupation. At the end of the article, an analysis of the work to be done in the liberated territories using innovative technologies and world experience was carried out and suggestions were made.
