摘要

Since the Industrial Revolution, the Linear Economy, known as “produce-consume-throw”, implemented as the dominant economic model, has begun to push environmental boundaries. This process causes accelerated depletion of resources, generating waste. Therefore, it is necessary to harmonize economic activities with the environment, turning society into a conscious process of production and consumption. For these purposes, a circular economy is considered as an alternative to the linear model. To achieve this, innovation must be enabled in the technological infrastructure. It is likely that eco-innovation activities will accelerate the formation, creating a field of application for the circular economy. Research offering a theoretical perspective has identified the need for eco-innovation. It is expected that eco-innovation efforts will require many legal, financial and infrastructural services, which can be considered in various studies.
