摘要

Green technology is gaining prominence globally as nations strive to mitigate environmental challenges and foster sustainable development. Azerbaijan, situated at the crossroads of Europe and Asia, is no exception. This article explores the development directions and challenges of green technologies in Azerbaijan, examining their impact on international relations and integration. It also investigates Azerbaijan’s technological capacity and innovation potential within the green sector. It explores the country’s current technological landscape, identifies key areas of strength and weakness, and discusses strategies to enhance technological capabilities for sustainable development. Through a comprehensive analysis of existing literature, policy documents, and case studies, this paper provides insights into Azerbaijan’s readiness to adopt and innovate green technologies. The article also discusses aspects of the development of green technologies in Azerbaijan and the problems encountered, and examines their impact on international relations and integration. Regional collaboration and integration play pivotal roles in promoting the adoption and deployment of green technologies, particularly in countries like Azerbaijan striving for economic diversification and environmental sustainability. The paper examines obstacles such as regulatory differences and institutional problems that can hinder international cooperation. In addition, the article explores the importance of regional cooperation in shaping development trajectories and addressing the challenges faced by the green technology sector in Azerbaijan.
