Managing Factors for Sustainable Development in the Processing Industry: A Comparative Analysis of Growth Models

The development of the processing industry depends on the competitiveness of the products produced in the enterprises. Therefore, stimulating measures should be implemented. Factors influencing the sustainable development of the processing industry and its current situation are analyzed in the article. The author, while conducting the analysis, used regression analysis and determined the functional dependence and measured how economic factors affect the development of the processing industry. He developed an economic model by establishing the dynamics of functional dependence. Based on nominal figures, he gave the forecast of the development of the processing industry of the Republic. The article provides a comparative description of various models for determining the dynamics of growth in the total volume of processed industrial products at industrial enterprises. Based on the obtained results, it is possible to prove that there is a linear independence between the indicators of the models, which indicates that the increase of each indicator of the proposed model leads to an increase in the total volume of processed industrial products.
